Little Change for BIG Change

Help support over 600 children and youth in our community!

It’s that time of year again! The ‘Little Change for BIG Change’ (LCBC) campaign runs in the summer and we’re so excited for another amazing year! Our ‘Little Change for BIG Change’ Campaign strives to raise awareness about BBBSG in the community and the need for ‘Bigs’ to volunteer with our mentorship programs. This campaign strives to collect little change from local community members that will help fund BIG change allowing our mentorship programs to continue to thrive!

State & Main DINE & DONATE

Kicking off our annual Little Change for BIG Change campaign, is the Dine & Donate event with State & Main Kitchen + Bar in Guelph! Join us for a one day only in support of a great cause! On Monday, June 15th, dine at State & Main and help make a difference in the lives of local young people. We have over 100 children and youth waiting to be matched with a mentor who will help them realize their full potential!

Gather your friends, family, or co-workers and enjoy an amazing meal knowing that 10% of proceeds will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph to support mentoring relationships that empower youth to reach their full potential.

Valet Car Wash (North End) Fundraiser

Valet Car Wash (Woodlawn Rd) is hosting a ONE DAY only single car wash fundraiser to support youth in our mentoring programs on Saturday, June 20th! To support, purchase any level of car wash and a portion of proceeds will go toward our volunteer recruitment strategies so we are able to match more youth who are on our waitlist with a caring and consistent mentor.

Hillside Music Festival Booth

This year, our staff will be attending the Hillside Music Festival on Saturday, July 18th & Sunday, July 19th at Guelph Lake Island. Our Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph booth will be located in the Neighbourhood Tent section right beside the Main Stage. If you are going to Hillside Music Festival this year, stop by our booth and participate in our interactive activity that our staff will be hosting or to learn more about our mentoring programs or how you could get involved with us!

TAG Days

Our TAG Days will be taking place at assigned store locations in Guelph on the weekends of:

July 10th from 5:00pm-7:00pm / July 11th & 12th from 10:00am-2:00pm
August 7th from 5:00pm-7:00pm / August 8th & 9th from 10:00am-2:00pm

TAG Days are where we stand out front of large, local retail locations with lots of foot traffic and solicit donations to support the BBBSG vision.
