Consider volunteering to serve on Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph’s Board of Directors.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph (BBBSG) serves over 600 at-risk children and youth each year, with an operating budget of $700,000 and 10 staff members. It is our collective mission to promote the healthy development of the children and youth of our community through a variety of quality mentoring programs. We are committed to the recruitment of volunteers dedicated to upholding the values and principles of the organization and to those we serve. In all endeavours, we will act with integrity and create an environment that encourages teamwork and respect.

Our vision is All Young People Realize Their Full Potential.

As a member of the Board of Directors, you will have opportunity to shape the future of mentoring in our region, working with dedicated and engaged Board colleagues and senior leaders of the Guelph community. This position requires a time commitment of approximately 2 hours per month attending board meetings and 1-2 hours per month attending committee meetings; as well as involvement in fundraising events.
