It’s that time of year again! The ‘Little Change for BIG Change’ (LCBC) campaign runs for the months of July & August and we’re so excited for another amazing year! Our ‘Little Change for BIG Change’ Campaign strives to raise awareness about BBBSG in the community and the need for ‘Bigs’ to volunteer with our mentorship programs. This campaign strives to collect little change from local community members that will help fund BIG change allowing our mentorship programs to continue to thrive!
LCBC Components
TAG Days
Our TAG Days took place on the weekend of July 11th from 5:00pm-7:00pm and July 12th & 13th from 10:00am-2:00pm at assigned store locations in Guelph! TAG Days are where we stand out front of large, local retail locations with lots of foot traffic and solicit donations to support the BBBSG vision.
The businesses who participated in our TAG Days Event this year are:

BBBSG would like to extend a BIG thank you to the businesses who participated in our TAG Days event, to our amazing volunteers and our supporters who helped make this event possible and a huge success raising $1,208!
POS Commitment
A BIG thank you to Canadian Tire located at 10 Woodlawn Rd E, Guelph for their participation in the campaign through a Point-of-Sale (POS) commitment and to everyone who made a donation in the month of July, raising a total of $604!
All funds raised go toward supporting local youth in matching them with caring and consistent adult mentors in our mentoring programs.

BIG Community Bottle Drive
On Saturday, August 23rd, 2025 from 11am-3pm, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph held our annual Community Bottle Drive in the back parking lot of our office.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by and donated their empty liquor bottles and cans! Together, you helped raise $292 to support local youth in the Guelph community!
McDonald’s Restaurants of Guelph, Fergus & Elora
Give a little change to see a BIG Change!
From August 18th – August 31st, community members donated at participating McDonald’s® Restaurants of Elora, Fergus and Guelph. Plus, on August 31st, $1 from the purchase of every Big Mac®, Happy Meal® or McCafé® coffee was also donated by McDonald’s® Restaurants of Elora, Fergus and Guelph.
Thank you to all community members who made a donation! Your donations support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Centre Wellington in providing life-changing mentoring relationships for local youth!
